- Have been defined in Warhammer 40,000 lore (including the Deathwatch Core Rulebook) for several years as unable to exist due to the nature of the implanted organs that turn pre-pubescent human beings into Space Marines.
- Are, in the alternate Warhammer 40,000 continuity of Only In Death, so common within the Chapters as to be un-remarkable.
- Are still referred to as “Battle-Brothers” along with their male kin as a matter of tradition.
I’d long held that if a human of the female persuasion expressed interest in playing a Deathwatch game I was GMing, I would welcome any desire she may have to play a female Space Marine. Why? Because I have no desire to prevent a woman feeling like this:
NO WONDER WHITE MEN ARE SO OBSCENELY CONFIDENT ALL THE TIME I SAW ONE WOMAN HERO MOVIE AND I’M READY TO FIGHT A THOUSAND DUDES BAREHANDED
